A response to how more people should take part into leardership in there conutry

http://www.takingitglobal.org/connections/stories/story.html?MemberID=25810 This is the website you can go to to find what i am talking about. Two new ideas i learned about while reading a member story were how i could be a better leader towards my friends and my community and how to get invloved. I think these new ideas are important because helping your community and your country, is like helping your family. The country you live in should be cherish as if everybody that lived in it was your family. I think that if i were a leader in my country and my community i would try to help out with fixing things in the area such as playgrounds, parks, abandon houses, and pot holes in the middle of the streets. It is important to get invloved in your community, city, country etc. because it will help you later on it the future and it is good to know. I call myself a leader because i'm always trying to guide my firnds into the right paths by giving them good advice and just being a good friend. You can be a leader to antone or anything as long as you work up to that potential. This story was interesting to me because this young man who posted this story wasn't just informing the TIG members that Africa is in crisis, he was explaining why, his point of veiw about the situation and how he was going to get invloved so that he can make a difference. So now he is a leader at his University and he is trying to do anything in his power to help this situation sonce no one else is. If i was him i would start my own group up and have other people helping me because something needs to be done. This experience sounds different from mines because i wasn't a leader at my school and i haven't tried to help take part in leading something in my country but our stories do have similar ways. In the end i thought this was a great story and i hope this young man's leadership helps Africa's crisis.
